This place is awesome! Had the grilled steak sandwich and some empanadas and everything was extremely fresh, tasty and great portion for the price. If you are in the are you should definitely stop by!

Great food! I love the empanadas, specially the meat empanadas. The Milanesa Napolitana is so yummy ( breaded steak with tomato and cheese on top ), and any kind of steak since the Argentinian meat supposed to be the best in the world ;) The steak sandwich is a good example. They also have sweets and desserts, the Panqueque de dulce de leche is a a type of sweet milk ( similar to caramel) pancake. It's a simple small place, with good prices, go there if you are looking for great food! Luis the owner is very warm and approachable. The Argentinian Deli s run as a mom and pop restaurant.

HOLY EMPANADAS!!! I had the 3 empanada special... 2 beef and 1 spinach. Crust was flaky, filling was perfectly seasoned! Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back and bringing my friends! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Was in search of something different yet inexpensive for lunch in East Boca and came across "The Argentinian Deli". Small place with very little seating and a deli/meat counter setup. Saw a lunch special for 3 empanadas and a coke for $5.00 or 3 empanadas with 2 sides for $6.25. Neither is a bad deal in my book. I opted for the 3 empanadas with 2 sides... had the Italian salad and a side of popped chips. The popped chips taste like air... no fault of the deli as they are received pre-packaged. The italian salad doesn't look nor taste too fresh... skip it if you can! On to the empanadas--- they were good. I mixed it up.. 1 Beef 1 Chicken and veggies and 1 onion and 3 cheeses. I really liked the seasoning on the beef empanada, I liked the taste of the chicken; the onion and cheeses one however, I'd pass on... Check it out!

Been here a couple of times. Both times got empanadas. My favorite was the spinach. They have a deal where you get 3 empanadas and a soda for $6. Pretty good. They have other menu choices such as sandwiches but I haven't tried them yet. Another time.

I went here for lunch with a coworker who is from Argentina. I had the sandwich special. A 6" sandwich, side and drink for $6! I chose the herbed grilled chicken. It was seasoned well and the French bread was fresh. My side was the chicken empanada. All were very good. The place is no frills but clean. My coworker had the empanadas and loved his. This means a lot since he is Argetinian. Go for the food not the ambiance. I will become a regular

Friendly service and amazing food at a modest price in Boca. Can't go wrong here!

Here is a nice surprise. Real Argentinian food served up by a real Argentinian, and a very nice one at that...Luis. A not at all fancy place that does a lot of take out business + a hand full of tables for those wishing to eat in. Yummy food included A great steak, empanadas and a ricotta pie for dessert. 2 very nice meals for about 20 bucks.

Boy I love this little hole in the wall! The empanadas are out-of-this-world! They are well stocked, hot and oh so delicious. They have a deal $6.95 for 3 empanadas and a beverage. The have a variety of empanadas beef, chicken, cheese, ham and cheese, spinach and cheese, tomato and mozzarella and probably a few more that I've forgotten. They offer breakfast and lunch menus which have plenty of offerings. I've had the steak sub which had come kind of Argentinian pesto on it - so delicious and plenty food. Lunch deals include one side which can be an empanada and a drink. They have guaraná and lots of Spanish candies and cookies. The front display houses authentic Latin cakes, the guava one appears to be a hit and disappears fairly quick. And lastly, I love me a nice hot café con leche, they also have cortaditos and American coffee also. One down side to this place is probably the service, it is extremely South American, laid back/relaxed, so if you're in a hurry prepare your patience before you enter.

Just got takeout for lunch and this place was great! I got the skirt steak sandwich because of the previous reviews here on Yelp. The only downfall was not ordering the large! It was delicious!!! Also got a spinach and cheese empanada...which was EQUALLY AMAZING! Nice and flakey. Just how I like it.

Definitely a hidden gem. A diamond in the rough! Started off with their famous empanadas - and boy they really should be the talk of the town!! I enjoyed the all beef and the spinach and cheese empanadas packed full of flavor! Served nice and warm to the table and suddenly within a blink of an eye they were gone. Could not keep our hands off them!! I ordered the steak for dinner with 2 sunny side up eggs (well done) and a side of rice & beans. Everything was perfect. The steak was cooked to perfection, rice was just like home! I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in such a while. It could fool you to be home cooked!! The real winner out of everything is their steak sauce. The amazing chimichurry sauce OH MY LANTA it was beyond amazing so fresh ugh. I packed the rest of it in my doggy bag! Couldn't throw that away no way. I would definitely go back to this place! So heavenly! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

I love this place. People might not give it a try because of its location but their food is great. Im from Argentina and my expectations are pretty high but i can say this place meets my expectations. When mom is out of town and i'm missing her food, there's no where else i would rather go than here. I like ordering their beef Milanesa and potato salad. But everything is really tasty. My boyfriend loves it (he is a really picky eater). I recommend this place 100%.. Don't let its appearance misguide you. :)

Parilla proved well worth the selection with steak, sausage, ribs, morcilla, and a nice salad accompaniment. A wonderful Malbec from Rutini / La Rural made for an overall great meal. Service was patient, I only wish that I could have convinced another patron to order what I did.

I found this little delight based on my fellow Yelper's reviews. They all hit the nail on the head. Great little place, amazing food! Although its a hole-in-the-wall, its clean and the food is fresh. The empanadas are to die for and the meats are delectable! The service is super friendly and they have take-out too. I ended up taking a dozen (which is 14 there) empanadas home for dinner...so damn good! Will definitely go back, and you should definitely check it out. No ands, ifs, or buts about it.

This is a strange, interesting, delicious little spot. They have recently redone the layout and added new tables so there is a bit more room to eat. They will come to your table, but it seems best to go up and order because service is really slow because it's just one girl. The empanadas are SO good - the onion, cheese, and corn ones are amazing. So yummy! They are my favorite things here and definitely a good reason to come. They have a nice lunch special with them where you get three and a drink for a good price. I also love the sandwich de miga with ham and cheese - it's a crusted grilled ham and cheese that is super light and crisp. It's a nice light lunch. The service can be slow, like I said, so getting your order in and paying first so you can leave as you please is the best way to go.

This place is a nice find that hits the spot perfectly in this part of South Florida facing a dearth of Argentine bakeries/delis unlike down in Miami-Dade. The prices are more than reasonable, and the offerings plenty. They have delectable empanadas, pascualina spinach pies, typical lomito and chivito sandwiches, matambre, migas, and even parrilladas (on weekends) filled with the typical offerings of entraña and vacio steaks, sweetbreads, chorizo, and blood sausages. And good coffee that'll beat any Cuban joint around this area. Basically this place has everything that is normally found in Argentine bakeries/deli, which in itself is a nice surprise in Boca area. And an even better surprise is that they do it all well. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

This was our second visit and this time sat at table and had lunch, rather than take out. First, don't be turned off by the run down strip mall and challenging parking lot lay-out. The Argentinian Deli is a GEM which deserves its strong reviews, and will be appreciated by Yelpers who like small family run restaurants serving up fresh, tasty, authentic food. Tables sit about 30, it's tight inside. So all you adventuresome YELP ELITES AND THOSE STRIVING FOR SAME, drive over here and get some really good food! They have a wide selection of empanadas, made fresh throughout the day, displayed at the counter. Observed lots of take out orders at lunch time (really really busy), and some sold out. Be patient, if you can, they are cooking more in the back. The CHICKEN and BEEF filled ones were awesome (see pics). Tried an 8 inch sandwich on incredibly tasty, slightly toasted bread of MILANESA POLLO. It melted in my mouth, the sauce added was just right, did not overpower the chicken. A side of POTATO SALAD was yummy, with peas and carrots, not overly creamy, a bit too cold, needed to get room temp. Bought a huge GUAVA FILLED PIE which was not made by them, but the owner proudly said it was made by an Argentenian woman who baked it at home and it was real good. I took his word, brought it to a July 4 dinner, and it was a hit. Everyone had two pieces - and I had cut large slices. So you may not buy an entire pie (if they even have one available), but strongly suggesting you try their desserts. Next visit I will become more adventuresome and do a mixed grill with Aregentenian meats. Saw it served at a table next to me (on a warmer grill) and it was fierce. NOTE: they proudly post a sign stating none of their meats/poultry are frozen. Only downside was service at the table was competing with take-out line, and there didn't appear to be a logic as to who got served first - us sitting at a table or the people waiting on line. When I walked up to the counter to ask if I should place my order there, I was advised I could, or she would be right over to take the order at the table. I opted for giving the order at the table, which may have been a mistake, as we were not served until all of the line disappeared. It was worth the wait, now I better understand the "protocol". Everyone speaks English as well as Portgugese. If you are not concerned with real simple decor, a bit tight seating, and a little haphazard service, GO! The food was inexpensive, fresh, and really good. Now I know why they are so crowded - mostly with Argentinians who know authentic cooking outside of their country.

My compadres and I hit this place up for lunch regularly. My go to is the Steak Sandwich special, as even the "small" size is a great deal. I really dig their empanada selection. I grew up eating standard chicken or beef empanadas, but they have some unique options like sweet corn, spinach, and my personal favorite: caprese. One time two friends of mine split whatever crazy ultimate meat platter they offer and it was monstrous, and by their accounts delicious. Great spot if you're lookin' for a casual meal in the Boca area!

I absolutely love hidden gems like this place! The restaurant is clean, and quaint. The service is super and the food is good and a great value! This place is very un-American (in a good way). We had a bunch of steaks, a bottle of wine, and a few beers and our bill was under $100 for four people! They also sell awesome empanadas and breakfast. Don't miss out on trying this place if you want to explore a really nice alternative to "all things Boca."

Amazing! I've tried several empanadas from here and they are all delicious. Ham and cheese, beef and caprese are my favorites. Friendly staff, always greeting you with a smile. The skirt steak was very juicy and cooked just right! If you're around the area it's worth the stop to try their empanadas.

Went there for lunch today. I ordered the #1 steak sandwich, fries, and a drink. It was great! Fresh, hot, delicious. Owner came out and talked to me while my food was being made. She was very nice and friendly. Great family owned place. I will definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

I can't believe this place has been open that long and this is my first time here.. The place has the best skirt steak and Spanish sausage.. Not to mention the empanadas are ridiculous!! I will definitely be back over and over again

I love this place. The food is amazing and it's so nice to have a place culturally established. It's pleasant. If you ever need to stop in somewhere to get a meal worth having I would try this place. The empanadas are really the bread winner in my opinion.

I love Mom and Pop Family Run shops and thought the reviews here looked great and wanted to try it out last week in support (and due to the reviews on Yelp) -decided to give it a try for dinner. I had the the Chimichuri Steak - it was lukewarm - and tasteless (actually if I was to describe a taste, "gamey" and old freezer burn would be it). The meat had no grill marks on it, just sort of a grey color.,,, it was not tough, but looked anemic - almost "boiled" looking. The waiter never came to ask how it was. I'm sorry, I feel bad but...it was my experience....however, the plantains were delicious and hot.

Pretty good food! I had a couple of their sandwiches and most of their empanadas. Worth going. The only cons are parking (Next to impossible to find parking during the lunch hour) and sometimes the service can be a bit slow.

I'm not overly familiar with Argentinian food. I just knew that I wanted to grill out for Labor Day weekend. I went here and spoke with the owner (pretty sure) and purchased enough skirt steak for 4 people. He was very friendly and I appreciate the amount of knowledge he passed along in regards to preparing the meat. It came out AMAZING. Everyone was incredibly impressed. His advice of "just salt, and low heat, don't overdo it" was perfect. Also, the blood sausage that I picked up was fantastic. Great find in Boca.
